Batumi City Council withdraws clause on non-compliance of Ambassador’s project

The opposition regarded the city council’s decision as “damaging the city.” During the discussion of the issue in Sakrebulo there was a skirmish.

“On the instructions of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the master plan [Батуми] was destroyed. General plan, for which we paid half a million lari. For the sake of the favor of certain businessmen and some officials who did not like the word “inappropriate”, it was withdrawn.

This happens because it (means) a trial in court, and the judge (from the “clan”) Murusidze-Chinchaladze was given a free hand to legitimize the Ambassador, and the ruling party was able to justify this,” said Lasha, an MP from the National Movement Kilaberia.

The company illegally added two more floors to the project, but then applied to the Batumi City Hall to obtain permission, and received it.
