Georgian Defense Minister met with Iranian Ambassador

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia Mahmoud Adeeb. Burchuladze congratulated the Iranian diplomat on his appointment to a new position and wished him success.

At the meeting, they talked about new challenges and opportunities facing the region. The parties also discussed current issues and further plans for bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

As Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia, Mahmoud Adib replaced Akbar Ghasemi-Ali-Abad.
