Rehabilitation works of Gotsiridze metro station are actually completed

According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the rehabilitation work of the Gotsiridze metro station has actually been completed.

As Kaladze noted, the company’s irresponsibility in terms of delaying the rehabilitation process is categorically unacceptable.

“These works were carried out by Mamisoni, which won the tender. About 210 days were allotted to complete the work, this process created many problems. I perfectly understand that a complete replacement of the platform was necessary. This was not included in the project, this work was carried out in connection with the accident, although the delay is categorically unacceptable. It is unfortunate that there are such irresponsible companies that do not do their job properly. All this is reflected in me, my teammates who work 24 hours a day to change the city for the better. This will be followed by a corresponding response from our side. As I said, the work has actually been completed, the commissioning procedures are being carried out. In the near future, we will provide you with accurate information on when the Gotsiridze metro station will be able to serve people,” Kakha Kaladze said.
