MEP, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Anna Fotyga responded on Twitter to today’s decision of the Court of Appeal in the case of Nika Gvaramia, Director General of the Mtavari Arkhi TV channel.
According to her, persecution for political reasons is unacceptable in Georgia.
“I join in the concern about the situation around the Nika Gvaramia case. Politically motivated persecution and further deterioration of media freedom in Georgia are unacceptable,” Anna Fotyga said.
