“If the President of Georgia pardons Nika Gvaramia, it will be an insult to the institution of the President directly on the part of the President of Georgia, I think this is wrong,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream.

As Kobakhidze noted, everyone remembers well how Nika Gvaramia spoke unflatteringly about Salome Zurabishvili, which was an insult to the presidential institution.

“Do you remember how Nika Gvaramia insulted Salome Zurabishvili, addressing her with rude words. This was an insult not only to Salome Zurabishvili personally, but also to the institution of the president. If the president pardons Gvaramia under such circumstances, it will be an insult to the presidential institution directly on the part of the president of Georgia, I think this is wrong,” Kobakhidze said.

The Tbilisi Court of Appeal left the founder and CEO of Mtavari Arkhi, Nika Gvaramia, in custody.
