Police find 13 bagfuls of occupiers’ secret documents in Izium

Law enforcement officers have seized secret documents belonging to the occupiers in liberated Izium in Kharkiv Oblast, including the combat order to invade Ukraine and a map of Kharkiv Oblast showing the route.

Quote: “The material evidence found includes: the Russian forces’ secret combat order to invade Ukraine’s territory, a topographic map of Kharkiv Oblast with the route, lists of personnel serving in the tank brigades of Russia’s Armed Forces, and documents from units of the Military Civilian Administration of Izium district, educational and medical establishments, entrepreneurs, and utility companies.”



 

Details: The “find” was discovered in the basement of a secondary school.  

 

The police seized 13 bags of documents in total. 

 

Investigators have launched criminal proceedings.

  • The city of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast was occupied by Russian troops on 2 April 2022; the Russians withdrew on 10 September, leaving military equipment behind.
