The US Embassy in Georgia expresses its regret over the death of a teenager as a result of a tragic incident that occurred yesterday in Vake Park, and expresses its condolences to the family of the deceased girl.
“Today’s concert of the jazz quintet at the Tbilisi State Conservatory and the concert on October 16 at the Telavi Music School will not take place.
We express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and classmates of 13-year-old Marita. We join all of Georgia in mourning this tragic loss together.
We hope that the victims will fully recover, we pray for this,” the embassy’s Facebook page says.
