Georgia’s foreign trade increased by 35.3% in January-September

According to express data published by the National Statistics Service of Georgia on October 13, in January-September 2022, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, Georgia’s foreign trade increased by 35.3% and amounted to 13.6 billion US dollars.

During the reporting period, exports increased by 37.4% to $4.09 billion, while imports increased by 34.4% to $9.5 billion. The negative trade balance amounted to 5.4 billion US dollars, which is 39.8% of the foreign trade turnover.
