The main areas of cooperation between Georgia and France and the European perspective provided to Georgia were the topics of discussion at the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and French Presidential Diplomatic Adviser Isabelle Dumont.

Irakli Garibashvili thanked Isabelle Dumont for supporting the sovereignty, territorial integrity and European integration of Georgia. The conversation also touched upon the ongoing war in Ukraine and the situation in the South Caucasus. The need for a close political dialogue on European policy issues was emphasized. The Prime Minister noted that Georgia remains committed to the idea of ​​expanding cooperation with France not only in the field of security, but also in the direction of deepening ties with the European Union.
