Director General of Zaporozhye NPP detained by Russian patrol

A Russian patrol detained the Ukrainian general director of the Russian-controlled Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the state agency of Ukraine Energoatom reports.

The statement notes that Igor Murashov was detained on the way from the station to the city of Energodar. The man was blindfolded and taken away in an unknown direction.

Recall that Zaporozhye NPP is under the control of Russian forces. According to the Ukrainian authorities, the invaders often fire at the territory. Russia denies the accusations and accuses Ukraine of shelling the territory of the power plant.
