President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Western partners to implement Ukraine’s proposals for security guarantees, as set out in the Kiev Security Compact. This is reported by “European truth”.

“We understand that this (Ukraine’s entry into NATO) requires a consensus of all members of the Alliance. We understand that such a consensus must be reached. And therefore, while this is happening, we propose to implement our proposals on security guarantees for Europe and Ukraine in accordance with the Kyiv Treaty security, which was developed and presented to our partners,” the head of state said in an address on Friday.

“Security has no alternatives. But determination is needed to guarantee it by signing Ukraine’s bid to join NATO on an accelerated basis,” he added.

Recall, on Friday, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine had signed an application for accelerated entry into the North Atlantic Alliance.

This was preceded by the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to annex four regions of Ukraine following what Russian propaganda called “referendums.”

On September 13, Bankovaya presented recommendations on the security guarantees that Ukraine wants, which provide for the conclusion of one multilateral agreement and several bilateral agreements with guarantor countries. The recommendations provide that Ukraine continues to strive for NATO membership.

Everything that is known about the “Kiev Security Treaty” with analysis is in the article by EuroPravda editor Sergei Sidorenko Guarantees from Yermak and Rasmussen: what security scheme for Ukraine will Bankovaya promote.
