“We must not forget about Georgia”

Speaking at the international conference “Glory to Ukraine” in Tbilisi, MEP Viola von Cramon noted that for 12 years Georgia was the center of an associated trio, however, today the country seems to have been pushed aside.
The MEP urged not to forget about Georgia and raise this issue more in all formats.
“[Евроинтеграция] is a window of opportunity and we must not forget about Georgia. Today, Georgia seems to be pushed aside, it is not mentioned anywhere, this is a big problem. Until now we had a trio, Georgia was the center of this trio for 12 years, however, now this issue is not being discussed. We must not forget to talk about it in member countries and institutions. We must return Georgia and find ways to resolve this issue if the country does not receive candidate status,” she said.
