“The main issue at the UN General Assembly will be Ukraine, and the prime minister must dispel all the doubts that have arisen about us there,” Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said.

“Solidarity does not mean a second front, does not mean entry into the war, solidarity is what Georgia knows well when a friend is at war or in battle. Solidarity is that you should not criticize behind your back, that you should morally stand on his side, no one demands anything else from you, even additional sanctions, this is also a lie, nor our involvement anywhere, but what we must to be there, as Georgia demands, our past, our dignity, our long-term friendly relations with a country that is occupied, like ours. This is what we have to show at the UN in New York, because there will be no other topic. Occupation, war, all countries express their attitude, and today it should be clear that the choice is very simple – we want to be perceived as a country that is part of the European family, European values, that is, a participating unit of that civilized, democratic, free world , if we still hesitate somewhere. This is what should manifest itself in the coming days, the next week, the next month, and the responsibility for this lies with everyone together,” said Salome Zurabishvili.
