The average citizen of Georgia needs 64 days to make money on the iPhone 14 Pro

Picodi.com for the fifth time compared local prices for the iPhone 14 Pro (128 GB) with salaries in different countries of the world and calculated the iPhone index, i.e. the cost of a smartphone, expressed in working days.

In the US, the base price of the 14 Pro is $999, but keep in mind that this is a “net” price, relevant only for four states where sales tax is 0%.

According to official data, the average salary in Tajikistan is 1,907 somoni (1,696.08 pp. in hand). At the same time, the average cost of a new flagship from Apple is 14,500 somoni. Thus, the average resident of Tajikistan must work 179.5 days to raise money for the iPhone 14 Pro. Provided that he puts aside all the money he earns for the purchase. Residents of Kyrgyzstan will have to work less (136.3 days) with an average “net” salary of 20,709.9 rubles. In Uzbekistan, an iPhone “costs” 103.7 working days, in Azerbaijan – 83.8 days, in Armenia – 76.7 days, and in Georgia – 64.3 days. The fastest way to earn a new iPhone is the average resident of Switzerland – in just 4.6 days. The average American will be able to afford a novelty, having worked 5.7 days, and the Australian – 6.1 days.

Among the countries included in the ranking, Argentina has the worst result, where the iPhone is equal to 180 workdays. The second and third places from the end are occupied by Tajikistan and Turkey with the results of 179.5 and 146.7 respectively.
