Tbilisi City Council approved new names of streets, lanes and squares in Tbilisi.

The bridge in the Chugureti district is named after the Georgian classic writer Guram Dochanashvili, and Chorokhi Street was renamed after the Georgian musician and folklorist Anzor Erkomaishvili.

Nameless street and square next to Grigol Robakidze Avenue in the Didube region are named after the singer and musician Dzhemal Chkuaseli.

Kankava street located in the Chugureti district will be named after the composer, Honored Artist of Georgia and honorary citizen of Tbilisi Gomar Sikharulidze, and the alley near Gabriel Sundukyan Street will be named after the folklorist Kukuri Chokhonelidze.
In the Mtatsminda district, a section of the street and the alley adjacent to it are named after the director Rezo Gabriadze.

In the Isan district, part of Konstantin Tsutskiridze Street and part of Iori Lane were renamed in honor of the architect Gigi Batiashvili, and the nameless square near Navtlugi Street in the same area will become Greek.

An unnamed street next to Ioseb Noneshvili Street in Mukhiani is named after singer Zurab Bakuradze. And public school No. 220 will be named after Zurab Dzamunashvili.
