12th Infantry Battalion conducted combat exercises

One hundred of the 12th Light Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Brigade, Eastern Command conducted a targeted live-fire exercise at the Vaziani firing range. The information is disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.
“Together with a hundred Bravos of the 12th Light Battalion, a sniper group of the 1st Infantry Brigade and a unit of the engineer battalion of the Eastern Command took part in the exercises. The hundreds were supported by twenty BM-21 multiple launch rocket systems of the 52nd artillery battalion of the 5th artillery brigade, as well as 120- and 82-mm mortars of the 1st infantry brigade.
The exercises were held at the Vaziani training ground for two weeks. The purpose of the exercises was to work out coordinated actions by units with elements of support in the performance of collective tasks, ”the ministry said in a statement.
