Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Levan Ioseliani will leave with a mission of observers for the elections to the US Congress and Senate. This was reported by the press service of the Citizens party.
Ioseliani is the only member of the Georgian parliament who will oversee the American elections in the rank of deputy.
“It is noteworthy that hybrid elections are being held in the United States, and in Los Angeles, where Ioseliani will be located, voting will take place via an electronic system. The elections will last five days.
The Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament will take part in the elections to the US Congress and Senate at the invitation of the international organization “Electoral Transparency”.
Ioseliani’s visit is especially important as it aims to facilitate the transition to the electronic system envisaged by Georgia’s electoral reform,” the information says.
