The sports publication ESPN has named the symbolic team of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Georgian football player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also made it to the list of the top 11 players.

The publication believes that Kvaratskhelia has made a significant contribution to the success of his team. In particular, Napoli are leading in Serie A (Italian football championship) with a margin of five points. The Neapolitans also reached the 1/8 of the Champions League, ahead in their group, including the English Liverpool.

ESPN noted that Ajax felt the “destroying energy” of the Georgian winger. In two matches against the Dutch team, he scored two goals and provided two assists. Against Scottish Rangers, Hvicha landed eight shots on goal and also earned a penalty for his team.

“The striker, endowed with unpredictability and agility, has shown himself to be a big threat this Champions League season,” writes the publication about Khvich Kvaratskhelya, writes ESPN.

Giacomo Raspadori, who plays with Kvaratskhelia for Napoli, also got into the symbolic team.
