Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia held official meetings in Poland

Head of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Nikoloz Sharadze and Director of the Patrol Police Department Vazha Siradze participated in the 25th International Border Police Conference organized by Frontex in Warsaw, Poland.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main theme of the event was preparations for responding to emergencies that arose at the border.

The international conference was attended by leaders of the border and coast police from around the world.

During the visit, the heads of the Border Police and the Patrol Police of Georgia held a bilateral meeting with the head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Rosian Vasiloi and talked about deepening cooperation between the border agencies of the two countries.

Members of the Georgian delegation also met with the Head of Frontex Rapid Response Department Anna Kristin Yorge. The parties discussed the prospects and future plans for deepening cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and FRONTEX.
