Information centers for Ukrainian refugees to open at Georgian airports

The Georgian authorities have announced that information centers for Ukrainian refugees will be opened at the country’s airports. The centers will appear in Tbilisi and Batumi international airports, as well as at the Kazbegi-Upper Lars automobile checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border, Novosti-Georgia reports.
Citizens of Ukraine, who were forced to leave their country due to the war, upon arrival will be able to receive information about all the services available to them in Georgia. If necessary, they will also be provided with psychological assistance and basic personal hygiene products.
ChargĂ© d’Affaires for Ukraine in Georgia Andriy Kasyanov noted that since the beginning of the war, Georgia has transferred $1.3 million and sent 100 tons of humanitarian cargo to help Ukrainians.
