Georgian figure skaters earn two gold medals at a prestigious tournament

Georgian figure skaters won two gold medals at the Denis Ten Memorial International Tournament in Almaty, the Georgian Figure Skating Federation reports.

Georgian figure skater Nika Egadze took first place in the men’s senior competition.

Another member of the Georgian national team, Inga Gurgenidze, won gold in women’s singles among juniors.

“Denis Ten Memorial” is a tournament in memory of the most titled figure skater in the history of Kazakhstan. This year, athletes from more than 20 countries of the world took part in it.

By the way, the Georgian athlete was the winner of the first Denis Ten Memorial. In 2019, Maurice Kvitelashvili earned gold in the tournament.
