Russian occupiers hit Nikopol district, more than 20 houses damaged

Russian occupiers attacked Marhanets and Nikopol hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight. The city of Nikopol has sustained most damage.

Quote from Reznichenko: “The Russians kept the Nikopol district tense last night. They attacked two hromadas there, namely Marhanets and Nikopol.”



Details: Reznichenko has reported that the invaders shelled Nikopol with multiple-launch rocket systems and heavy artillery. More than 20 houses and a few gas pipelines  have been damaged in the city.

 

Also, power transmission lines are severed. Almost 1,000 families have been left without electricity. Electrical engineers are working to fix the power lines. 

 

Preliminary information indicates there are no casualties.
