In Likani, an explosion occurred in a residential building. This is reported by Channel One with reference to the mayor of the municipality of Borjomi Otar Arbolashvili.
He noted that at this stage the cause of the explosion is unknown.
According to him, at this stage the building is completely evacuated.
“Perhaps tomorrow the building will be examined, and before that, the Borjomi City Hall will provide residents with housing. We will cover all expenses,” the mayor said.
According to him, as a result of the accident, one person was injured, who was taken to the clinic and receives appropriate medical care.
Fire and rescue units were mobilized on the spot.
