The IAEA conducts an inspection at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has successfully conducted an inspection at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

Quote: “On 24-25 September, an inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency was successfully conducted at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant, within the framework of the Agreement between Ukraine and the IAEA in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The inspection was carried out by representatives of the Agency, with participation of an inspector of the State Nuclear Regulation Inspection,” the message reads.

It is noted that the purpose of the inspection is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear material.
