Ukraine Army Destroys Russia’s Ka-52 Helicopter, Seven UAVs – KyivPost

On August 21, 2022, the air-defense missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and one Ka-52 helicopter.

The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In addition, the Ukrainian air-defense missile units shot down two Kalibr-type cruise missiles.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s bombers and attack aircrafts have launched about 10 air strikes on the positions of Russian troops.

The Ukrainian military inflicted fire damage to Russia’s armored fighting vehicles, platoon and company strong points, multiple launch rocket system positions, air-defense missile systems, personnel and logistics.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and August 22, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 45,400 troops.
