Head of the Fire and Rescue Department of the Emergency Management Service David Sukhishvili said that climatic conditions complicate the process of extinguishing fires in the municipality of Borjomi.
According to him, three helicopters of the border police have been mobilized on the spot, which will resume work on extinguishing the fire as soon as the strong wind subsides.
“The number of firefighters-rescuers has also increased, about 250 firefighters have been mobilized. We also have the appropriate equipment on site, and we are working to extinguish the fire,” David Sukhishvili said.
